If you don't like this car, you don't like freedom
I shouldn't even have to describe how awesome this car is. It looks 100% stock on the outside, down to the widened stock rear wheels, but it would decimate almost anything it comes up against on the street.

I have no ties to the car or the seller, just wanted to share an awesome G8.

Saw that after I made my post. I'm loving these 30 sec to 3 minute delays on posting.

On a side note, never get caught in the rain with that car......

I know! Every time I see a car with remote mount turbos, I think about all dat hydrolocking they'll get if they go flirting with puddles

I saw this last October. It's a GT, not even a GXP like the one above.
The sheet on the intake piping was a dyno chart verifying the numbers. I'd be worried about air temps with it, but he won't hydrolock it in the rain, either.

With over 700 on tap from a centrifugal style supercharger I would imagine that the system is intercooled (can't tell from the picture, although the inlet going down and away then back up tells that it almost certainly is) so that would help out a lot.

I'm betting that car has an air to air intercooler setup

That makes me sad.....

Most people do A2A, W2A can be an unnecessary pain in the ass at times.

I've gotten used to positive displacement blowers where air to water is the norm.

thats how my eaton is
one of my friends has a vortech with a water 2 air setup, it took him a while to get it working right, he almost ripped it out for an air to air setup.

I would imagine it's running an air to air intercooler as well, and while that certainly helps, when you're pulling in air from beside the engine towards the back of the engine bay, you're starting out at a disadvantage. He could have something cool worked up with the existing hood scoops though. I didn't take a close look at the hood, so I don't know.

Sweet, looks like it's burning some oil though.

99% sure its unburnt fuel, thats letting off the gas not acceleration

Could be, I'm certainly not an expert, hard to tell for sure without smelling it, I got real close to my screen but couldn't pick up the scent ;)

Amazing but paying that much cash for someone else's project car (though very nice and well done) is a CP to me.

its a lot of money, and I'm not saying I'd plunk down 41 grand tomorrow either, but on the other side of the coin I doubt you could rebuild this car to a T for less than his asking price.

True but mods don't make a car worth more.
Though I do agree this car should be priced above stock, that's excessive

its a double edged sword in that sense. One guy could say exactly what you said, while the next could say what I said.
Theirs an ass for every seat!

That's a hell of a correction factor on the dyno...and a Mustang dyno to boot. Hmmm. It's cool

Take my money, just maybe not 40k. I can't imagine what this dude spent on this thing.
